Wonderful locations for summer events in Venice

We at Luxrest Venice always keep an eye on interesting events and activities, find unusual sites or initiatives and help you discover some more about Venice history and local daily life.

This time we picked up the Lace Biennale, a special event which is part of the process of making the Italian lace art a UNESCO intangible heritage. From 14th June to 2nd October 2022, the Lace museum in Burano will display special lace creations coming from different areas in Italy. Collateral events will also take place at Palazzo Mocenigo in Venice (Santa Croce district). 

We would also like to report a beautiful concert which will take place at the stunning SS Giovanni e Paolo church, in Castello district, on the 30th June 2022: a special chorus concert with the performance of Pueri cantores, a local child chorus from the Veneto region, and Boys Chorus from USA. The repertoire will range from classical music through spirituals and pop.
