Travel through time with Amerigo Vespucci in Venice

It's always a celebration when the Amerigo Vespucci sailing ship lands in Venice! The Amerigo Vespucci is the oldest ship in the Navy and its motto, "Not who begins but what perseveres", attributed to Leonardo da Vinci, emphasizes perseverance. It carries out training activities for Navy students and young people from sailing associations. For over 30 years it has been committed to environmental protection by collaborating with UNICEF, WWF and Marevivo. Thanks to its diplomatic missions around the world, it is considered a traveling embassy of Italy (information taken from the official Amerigo Vespucci website).

The splendid sailing ship landed in Venice on March 27, 2025 and it will be possible to visit it until March 31, the day on which it will set sail again to reach the port of Ancona. This weekend it is also possible to visit the Arsenale, which is opening its doors to the public!
