Venice: latest news about arrivals
For those who wish or need to travel these days, rules and ordinances changes day by day, that's why here at Luxrest Venice we always keep an eye on the official news and warnings. Don't hesitate to contact us if you plan a trip to Venice and you're not sure about the obligations to be respected!
These are the rules for travellers from abroad according to the healthcare office of the Veneto region, last updated on the 13th October 2020:
For those arriving to Italy from:
Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Czech Republic and Spain travellers must go through swab-test, free of charge, as per ministerial and regional ordinance.
It's possible either to have the test abroad, in the 72 hours preceding the arrival, then show it at the border/airport/station and send it by email to: infocovid-19@aulss3.veneto.it
Otherwise, in Venice, it's possible to get tested at Marco Polo airport or at the hospital "ex ospedale Giustinian", Dorsoduro 1454, everyday from 7am to 1pm. If you go through the test in Venice, you should stay at your accommodation until you receive the result.

Travellers arriving from: Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and Hungary, Schengen Agreement: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Andorra, Principality of Monaco, Republic of San Marino and Vatican City State are not subject to any obligation.

Travellers from Romania also must go through swab-test, in addition to self-isolation.
