Art Exhibitions in Venice in December 2024

Winter is approaching and it's bringing a moment of quiet and beautiful afternoon sunsets in Venice! As days are getting shorter, it's the ideal season to immerse yourself in museums and discover new sites and exhibitions.

Even if the Biennale just ended, there are still interesting exhibitions to visit:

at the Arsenale Nord, until the 8th December, you can check the works of the finalists of the Arte Laguna Prize;

Ca' Pesaro is displaying a review about the works of Giorgio Andreotta Calò, until the 4th March 2025; Roberto Matta until the 23rd March and Alessandro Cardinale until the 12th January 2025;

Peggy Guggenheim hosts the first personal show of Marina Apollonio, major exponent of optical and kinetic art, until the 3rd March 2025;

Ca' Rezzonico hosts an exhibition by Loris Cecchini: Leaps, gaps and overlapping diagrams, until the 31st March 2025. A unique chance to admire contemporary art in a 18th Century Venetian setting!
