Venice Carnival 2026 is coming soon! From the 31st January to the 17th February Venice will host the event which is maybe most famous for. Like it or not, it’s a unique mix of ancient traditions, glorious past nostalgia, extravaganza, sweets and street arts!

This year’s edition is connected to the Olympic games, which will take place nearly at the same time between Milano and Cortina, from the 6th to the 22nd of February. This means that the focus will be on games, competitions and acrobatic shows.

Several events are on display, like the water show at the Arsenale, the water parade on the Grand Canal and the Masquerade Ball at Saint-Mark’s square just to name a few. And of course it’s the occasion to admire people coming from all over the world to get masked in fancy or just imaginative way. You can just use your creativity to make up your own costume!
