During the Venice carnival, the traditional food as far as sweets are concerned are the frittelle, called in venetian also fritole or frìtoe. The frittelle have a story which began before the XIV century: get to know it and let your carnival in Venice will be even sweeter!

When we talk about venetian carnival masks we always think of Arlecchino or Pantalone… However, the first masks used by the venetian where different and definitively more original.
